Hmmm, dunno about this website, the About Us page makes it sound like the guy creates all the art pieces himself, but it's pretty obvious that they're mass produced pieces from China or somehwere, you don't do a pencil drawing of a building that you're trying to hock for $280 and title it "Vintage Building Pencil Art - Nostalgic Wall Decor, Lightweight", it sounds like an Aliexpress description.
And if all the popups of people buying things and the numbers of how many they've sold in the past few hours on each page is to be believed then they must be raking in 1000's of dollars every hour.
Hi @Flippant It's important to note that while the About Us page may give the impression that the Artist creates all the pieces, in reality, there's a mix of original artworks and sourced items like decorative stickers and accessories. The Sculpted Paintings, Abstract Paintings, and Pouring Paintings are all singular products listed individually. As for the popups indicating recent sales, they actually span from a few hours to a few days ago, not necessarily every hour. So, while there might be some sourced items, there's also genuine craftsmanship involved in all of the Paintings/Drawings offered.
Sorry, I call bs. EVERY product page has a thing telling you how many have supposedly sold in a set amount of hours, for example the "Textured Abstract Painting: Blue, Green, Gold, Rubber Seals" (another great personal name for a work of so called art), it says on that page that 3 have sold in the past 14 hours at $395 each, though if I look at the same page through a VPN for the USA it says that 8 have sold in the past 7 hours and if I change the VPN to Germany it says that 2 have sold in the past 12 hours. It's the same for every product on your site.
Now, either these numbers reflect individual sales numbers for each country, which means that each day your artist is having to create at least 20 "individual" copies of just this one piece and possibly 100's of other pieces each and every day as well, or, the pieces are mass produced in art farms in Asia and you're hocking them off as your own "individual" works, or, your sales numbers advertised on the stie are completely fabricated and misleading trying to make it seem like your art is more in demand than it actually is, something that is illegal to do in New Zealand under the Fair Trading Act.
Either way I don't trust you or your site.
