  • Max 3 purchases per customer. 1 item per order
  • Scroll down the page for some sample products.

e.g. MEMTEQ Wireless Mini Bluetooth Optical-Gaming-Mouse

Their site is getting hammered thanks to OzBargain. Register for an account using this link as I couldn't get the normal link to work.

  • Do the 'unavailable' items listed become available when the sale starts?

    • I hope so. :) I'm aiming for the headset.

  • Im getting 3 headsets if poss

Anyone wanting anything better be damn quick, I remember there was a similar sale on Ali, and the stuff literally lasted seconds.

I attempted to order with 3 different items in my cart and there was a $10(max) discount applied, so then put in 3 orders of 1 item each at 5c successfully. Code no longer works for me, presumably because I brought 3 items now.

    • It's maximum of 3 items, one at a time, so that's why :).

  • sweet, got 3 things for 5cents, 1 at a time

  • Sweet 2 hoodies and a router, 15c.

  • By the way, anyone wanting to have a referral code, there is a wiki page over on OzBargain for them. Each get $10.

  • Can't register, the phone verification code isn't getting through.

Never mind, saw the link at the post.

    • Maybe try a few times, it might be jammed up. Mine came through straight away.

      • Got registered thanks to neil's link, now I got a few things for next to nothing lol.

I've read about JD in the financial papers, but I didn't know they actually ship internationally. FYI they're one of the biggest E-commerce sites in China focusing on genuine Western-branded goods

  • This is just one hell of a deal. Got a bunch of xmas lights, forgot the electricity requirements eeeeeeek. Only 15c wont cry to Santa.

Can people register multiple accounts, or is that a big booboo?

    • I think you can, I placed an order with another account under my partner's name (with a slight variation of the same address) and used my other Visa debit card. (via Paypal's "pay with other credit card" function) The sale went through successfully.

Does anyone know if the promotional products rotate or are there more hidden ones beyond the page?

Type "JD555" in the search box to find all items that are on promotion. Source

  • i used a different account with incognito for my wife and it worked using the same paypal account

  • Also, if anyone registered using a referral link/code, choose a $10.05 item, and you can apply the $10 credit to that too, meaning you can get another 5c item or so.

    • This only works if you don't get stuck in the SMS registration process, which I did. IIRC if you use Neil's link to register there won't be an option to add a referral code.

      • Yea, correct, I got the SMS this time and registered no worries, but some aren't getting it. It's a plan b anyway.

  • I got six items, two logins

  • Do I need a USB chargeable electric shaver? No but why not for 8 cents

  • Now getting "There was an error loading your order! Please fresh the page!" at checkout so cannot use the code.

    • Same for me!

      • +1

It looks like they're having major technical difficulties - I got this error message as well, tried about 20 times and the coupon got through - only for the site to break at the payment stage.

        • Try going to your orders page and paying that way.

        • +1

@Shaw: not working that way either :(

        • @coolstorybro: Looks like the funs over :(

        • @Nongin: Payment just went through at 11:40pm, try it now. :)

        • @Nongin: I managed to get two item. But it wouldn't let me apply for third item after failed payment processing transfer after pressing submit order :(

        • @coolstorybro:

Mum had that problem too, but it went through now. Remember there are 5 days to make payment, so maybe try again.

        • @Shaw: oh it didn't get through that stage. They counted my use of JD555 for the failed order submission.

        • @coolstorybro:

Ah that's a pain. Could always sign a family member up though.

        • @Shaw: Just did, came up with the same error: "Sorry, the order can not be submitted, please try again later. If you need further help, please contact [email protected]." :/

        • @coolstorybro:

That's weird, no idea though, maybe could try a different browser if it's something you really want. Most of the stuff left is pretty junky from what I saw though.

Trying to find a way to use my 5 $10 coupons lol

  • will this stuff turn up??

    • It should, but it will take a long time, as expected though.

  • Shipping times are huge on some items - 39 days for lights. Hoping before xmas. If they never turn up will be a pain but can live with blowing 15c on whether this works or not.

    • Thats a pretty normal shipping time when buying stuff from China on eBay; if you're lucky its 2 weeks, but its often 4-6 weeks. ETA: and at this time of year i'd be expecting 6 weeks+.

  • Interestingly, this morning ive tried the code on several items from the JD555 search and any that are over $10Us are only taking off $10 and leaving $2.25 or whatever (yes im trying only one item at a time in my cart), anyone else having thing? ETA: just bought an $9.05US item and the code did take it down to .5cUS.

  • Another update: added a $9.68 item to my cart and applied JD555 code and it only took it down to .68c, removed item from cart, looked at some other stuff, re-added item to card and tried code again and this time it took it down to .5c .. so the moral of the story is keep trying lol? Items over $10.05 are still only taking $10 off which often leaves $2-6 in stead of .5c, still not sure whats going on there.

    • Same as I mentioned below, I think it's a stock level thing, where only so many of an item will be sold at 5c.

  • The items over 10 say coupon only removes 8-10$ off. So working properly.

    • Yup but last night items over $10 were dropping to .5c with the coupon so just letting people know that it is now 8-10 off, not down to .5c of all JD555 items.

      • I think it's a stock level thing, I noticed some doing it last night as well.

  • Really want that 32GB flash drive but of all the items only this one keeps saying "Sorry, the selected destination can't be shipped to, please change your destination" :(

    • There seemed to be quite a few of them, but they were mostly unavailable pretty quick, seemed to be one of the more popular options.

      • They're unavailable because JD has some products that are exclusive to the Russian market. (e.g. Stock in a warehouse next to the Russian border)

JD's website doesn't make it clear however, sometimes when you click a product link you get sent to a page in Russian.

        • Yea, I noticed a few Russian pages, strange way to setup a site/store..

        • @Shaw: I think this is actually their first time selling to an international market. JD is quite well known within China but not elsewhere.

    • This one works though is a little more expensive… http://en.jd.com/product/731280.html

Bluetooth portable speaker is really great quality, easily a $10-20 item here
Bluedio Bluetooth earphones are ok, does it job
USB charged electric shaver is fantastic build quality, 8cents for a portable one that would cost $50+ if it was phillips etc
