  Picked one up this afternoon. Seems good so far, only con is you need a Panasonic specific adapter for wireless networking and they about $100.

  nice, im trying to convince a mate to buy one as he just watches movies through tv sound.

  If this was around last year I would of bought one as a tempoary system, as I'm sure you could resell it second hand for $50-100 on trademe. I've since upgraded to my dream system (>$10k RRP), although I doubt have a subwoofer yet.

  Is the stuff related to bluetooth built into the BR player itself?

  Presumably you can just sell the BR player and use it for a cheap PC 5.1 setup.

    actually its just a 5.1 receiver, not a bluray player. Title deceiving. Yes this would make a good 5.1 pc speaker. It has bluetooth, so you can stream from your phone/tablet via bluetooth for audio playback on the receiver/speakers.

  Purchased one today from Taupo, and picking up tomorrow in wellington. Can also -$1 if using airpoints, as this is roughly 1.25 for the purchase.

    I noticed that they weren't included in the cashback list.

    I will see what Panasonic say and then contact Noels if required.
