  • I have tried bruan Panasonic Philips Remington I think Panasonic is better being easier to clean close shave and the more the money you spend the better it gets I have two Philips rotary shave they are good and one made in Japan from Panasonic , the Panasonic one is the closest shave , bruan is very hard to clean you need there machine to clean the shaver better which is a pain I tried a few as I support some clients with disabilities

    • Thanks, being female I have no idea :) However the assistant at Shavershop said that the Braun are best for buying replacement blades, you are only buying the one foil blade for say $60, compared to other brands where you are buying each part separately. That's why he recommended Braun. He also recommended the foil shavers for younger teenage skin, compared to the other style.

      • Philips blades on my thick Indian beard last 3 to 4 years or 2years approx when I was shaving every day for wet only shaves I am not sure how long they will last in dry only shaves , Panasonic I don't know yet , Braun don't know either , I can't say if Braun is more comfortable for shaving, foil shavers are not great if they are cheaper models with the exception of Panasonic they are also made in Japan for sensitive skin I think Philips will be better as it's rotary , Panasonic Philips not sure about brun have try for free promotion going on from time to time and they give full refund I did this with cheaper Panasonic models in NZ and then got arc 5from usa as it's lot cheaper there rather all my shavers are from USA , NZ pricing is like 2to 4times more , good luck

  • I have a Brain Series 7 and I have to say it is brilliant. Battery lasts forever. Lots of automatic razors destroy my skin with beard rash - never been an issue with Braun. I regularly tell my wife how its one of my best purchases. Got it refurb from a guy on trade me who sold a bunch of them. Best money spent.
