    • Wonder why it's not automatically added

    • These are great earbuds, I use mine daily.

Good deal, I got these on sale for $160 about 3 weeks ago from PB and they're mean as. Got them for gym cause my Sony ones stick out and don't stay in, these do and also sound good

    • Do Noel Leeming do price matches online? You could use the $10 coupon on them if so

      • I think they use a code when price matching, which means that you’re unable to use the $10 off $100 spend offer. I'm not speaking from first-hand experience so I could be wrong here.

        • +1

They stack , can price match + use the $20 birthday code if you have one + the $10 newsletter code

    • I got the Elite 3 for $70 a month ago. They're a great bang for buck TWS earphones minus the ANC. Would have got the 75t though for it's current price.

      • If you're looking for a slightly cheaper TWS earphones without ANC, you can look at Sony WF-C500 for $78.99, cheapest I've seen and they sound absolutely incredible !!

    • I bought Jabra Elite Active 75t few months back.
      What I like:
      Sound
      Fit
      Bass-heavy
      Sound isolation/ANC

      What I dislike:
On-ear detection does not work that well when I take them off and put them back on again. So now whenever I take them off, I put them in the case.

I also have Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and I prefer sound and fit of Jabra.

For this price, I'm considering getting 2nd pair.

I got a Smart Band 7. Have been waiting for it to come down and at $78.99 it's the lowest I've seen.

    • I got one in the weekend for $109 😱
Does pbtech have any price protection policy?

      • They do have this: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/about-pbcare

But I'm sure I've seen a reddit post from an employee saying that if you can't act them within 7 days they'll refund the difference.

The worst they can say is no.

      • +1

Just buy it and get a refund for your old order.

    Bit off-topic.

You posted the following deal a while back Bill
    https://www.cheapies.nz/node/35677

Just noticed that the Bendon Classic Men's Trunk 3 Pack is part of their current 5 for $55 deal.
    https://www.bendonlingerie.co.nz/products/bendon-man-classic…

    5 for $55 + 1x $5 underwear + HELLO20 = $47.95 delivered

Not as good but still decent.

    • Thanks, bought $145 of undernecessary undies.

    • Nice find, a good amount of time goes into checking websites like these for a deal.

A real shame they fixed the coupon. If it still worked, I would have bought 5 pairs of their modal trucks. I've been dying to get my hands, or rather, buttocks on some modal.

    Considering this TV: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/TVPHS82250/Philips-50PUT790…

Anyone thoughts on it? Love ambilight, but haven't really been up to date with the TV market for a long time. Looking around that price range for a 50-55inch, but have flexibility.

I have had many TV's over the last decade and can honestly say that this is probably one of the best value TV you could get for its specs. The image quality is exceptional for the price range (Compared to Veon, Konka, Kogan, etc). Speakers are similar to high-end TVs and the Ambilight is always a cool feature to use and show off to others. Its HDR is low brightness (as all low-end TVs are), so you may want to disable it unless in a dark area. Honestly a great deal. The processor is a little slow but the TV itself is honestly great. Search online, there are many reviews that are all over the place but most agree that you get your money's worth. Go into PB tech and see for yourself. I think it's on display at some. If you have money to spend and don't care about the Ambilight feature, just go with a good Sony Bravia or High-end LG TV. Can't compete.

      • Thoughts on the Sony X85k vs X90j? Theres still some 90j's out there in a 50 inch, but they're about $200 more than a 55inch x85k.

      • If you know, what back light does it use? Not being in the description is disappointing and I assume it must be edge-lit.

Image quality compared to normal TVs or qled tv's as there were 50' qled JVC's for $600 not longer ago.

price history shows it went down to $575 just last month 3 times.

If it's accurate might be better to wait and set a price alert for that price.

  • Anyone have any experience with scale? Like what variance you think there is in body fat?

    • +1

The scale itself is really good and sturdy.
I haven't used the Body Composition feature much but it seems to be an approximation with basic details so not sure how accurate it could be.
It uses BT to connect with the Mi App but hasn't always been easy to connect it.

All scales are inaccurate regarding body composition, if you want proper stats then you need to got to those nutritionist and gym ones I forgot what they're called starts with D iirc

However if just seeing the number change helps you eat, exercise and hydrate better then its worth it.

      • Dexa. Some gyms and places offer them free with membership or for a fee otherwise, google body composition scan and city

I went through and found all of the Xiaomi Scale 2nd Gen posts. You can find them all here:
      https://www.cheapies.nz/product/xiaomi-mi-body-composition-s…

Looks like $39 has been the standard sale price for yearsssss.

      Best posts feedback wise:

      • Well now I feel kind of dumb for buying it at $49. I've seen that has been the standard sale price often this year.

I have a couple of these scales of different generations. They are stylish and work well. I have them linked to my watch and also Home Assistant. Never any problems. Batteries last for ever…

I ignore the body fat readings, probably inaccurate or at the lest disturbing

  • Any thoughts on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11? Looks like a good price for a mid range phone .
